This is one of those "got up at 4:40 am" stories. You have most likely had one too. My mind was working and thoughts of "being" together with my family and friends while loving Jesus together were stirring new vision in my heart.

I know this excitement. I've felt it before. It is God the Spirit creating through my imagination what can be. He is bringing to birth a new expression of his love by inspiring a place and style of gathering that is different but has been the locus of love, true life and spiritual health for more than two thousand years.

Let me explain more fully with a bible verse from Acts 5:42. It says:

Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

The followers of Jesus had places of faith where they met and exercised  (isn't exercise always good) their faith encouraging each other. They told stories of answered prayers, shared their food, listened to the people who were their respected leaders teach and prayed to God about everything.

Sooooo simple, so healthy and so easy to simply "be". The house and the temple and market places were  their sanctuaries for "being". They left them to "be" Jesus at work, school, in the military, while recreating, doing family stuff,  resting or wherever they were found. And then they gathered together again!

Creating a shared space for experiencing faith in Christ  is my goal. A new place with new people who want to explore a journey with God and discover their purpose for living. A place to find forgiveness and new hope through Christ.

 Nothing will be required at faiTHePlace but an open heart to discover God together and the acceptance of others just the way they are. A place foe being. faiTHePlace.
